MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / FWD to VM? (It's not what you think)
« on: June 17, 2020, 12:52:08 PM »
We have a customer w MVO 250 (13 nodes) and Mitel App server w Phone Manager Mobile.  They use presence profiles for everything (changing status of an extension etc).  Recently a user complained of calls not routing correctly - turns out their desk phone was forwarded to VM.  NOT trhough fwd paths etc - HARD forwarded to the VM extension.  As if someone went to the phone and dialed 355 then the VM extension.  I know of NO other way to do this than what I just  stated.  FWD VM.....  dows anyone know any other way (through phone manager) that this would be possible?  We know you can put into DND etc and calls GO to VM.  But I am talking the desk extension shows - in attendant console - as FWD to VM.....   Any feedback would be great.

We have a customer who has deployed Phone Manager Mobile with Softphone working on a MVO250 platform (CT Gateway) multi node and Mitel App Suite (Xarios Phone Manager) and they have Ruckus AP's for their in house Wifi.  In their home office, the Mitel Phone Manager Mobile Softphone will just drop (lose connection) and need to be reconnected....  Does not seem to happen in their smaller offices.  They use Apple I Phone 11 mobile phones.  Anyone have any thoughts??

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / MGCP 911 Gateway for MVO250
« on: January 28, 2020, 09:26:04 AM »
Anyone had luck with using an MGCP gateway for 911 on an MVO250.  The scenario being - remote office with IP phones connected to an MVO250 host at another location via public IP.  Need to plug a LOCAL line in the remote location for the remote phones to use for dialing 911.  The gateway would allow the line to connect back to the MVO as a SIP trunk and the remote phones would use that SIP trunk for dialing 911.

We have tried the Audiocodes MP114 to no avail....

Thanks

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Android and Iphone SIP Client
« on: April 15, 2015, 04:08:04 PM »
Anyone mess around with an Android or Iphone App and connect it to their 5000 system as a SIP device?  Just curious if anyone has had luck with a particular one before I start blindly trying them.  I know I could use UCA but some customers do not want to fork over the $$$$
