Thanks for the help Ralph, that is a nice solution.

I have tested it but the 'direct page' cant 7500 as the line is busy with the incoming call from the "key System".

Perhaps this does need to be a multi line?

Just tested this,

The only problem is the Secretary cannot transfer (supervised) the call back to 7300 .  This is because the line is busy (with the call the secretary has answered).

Looks like im setting this up the wrong way as usual  :-[

Cool,

Got it now.  For my requirements, this is what i did in MCD 3300

Users and devices:   7000 (secretary phone)
keys
assign a key button
label: 7500 - CEO
line type: key system
ring type:  ring
Button Dir.Number: 7500

Thanks again,
Andy

Thanks for your help,

I've programmed 7500 as a softkey on the 7000 handset.  I used the line type "secretarial".

When 7500 rings the key on the 7000 lights up, but the actual handset does not ring, its more like a call pickup?

Fairly simple one:

We have a CEO with a single line extension i.e 7500.  He wants the PAs phone 7000 to ring when calls come into his phone.

I could create a Personal ring group for 7500 and add 7000 which is what I plan to do.  Knowing the 3300 there are more than a few ways to do this.  Is a PRG the best option, doesn't seem like it was designed specifically for this purpose?

(we currently have is a COS that always alternates to PA 7000 after 3 rings (7 seconds), but CEO wants both phones to ring).

Don't forget that when looking for a number in the 3300 you can go to maintenance commands and enter
Locate Number <number>

This will usually give you a clue as to where to look for the number.

Ralph

Nice, thanks Ralph - that's a great tip!

I would also check out hunt groups with call rerouting

Thanks, i'll take a look.  I cant seem to find any relation between trunks, the DNIS and the internal queue.

Some speed calls point from the DNIS to the queue so that has solves a few, but there are still many outstanding where the dots don't join.

Yes, I guess so.  I want to be able to use SIP client from Mac/PC from public internet - so this would be a SIP teleworker.

Should I just start with getting internal SIP client working - not sure what settings I need for this?  I'll go back to the drawing board and see if i can get this working first.

I'm struggling through trying to get a SIP device configured and working on the 3300/MBG.

I have created the generic SIP device in the 3300, but now im confused as to how the SIP client is configured and what settings i need to add to the MBG SIP device setup

It's MBG, and what exactly don't you understand?

And have you read the online help?

Cheers

Any links to the online help you speak of?

Hi,

We have lots lines point to a queue and I need to find out how they are setup e.g:

0207 000 1000¦
0207 000 1001¦
1002                ¦----------------2000 Queue Path
1003                ¦
1004                ¦

How do i find out where and how these numbers are pointed at the 2000 queue path?  Is it in the Mitel IVR, the 3300?  The info just doesn't seem obvious to me.

Thanks,
Andy

I've managed to sort out the issue.  I needed to set a Speed call to the full number (02071007777), then use the speed call number in the 1st alternative THIS number.

Hi,

Is there anyway to see if a user has entered a "feature code" from their device (5340 softkey) using Mitel CCM enterprise to trace the events?

Cheers,
Andy

Here is the what I have tested to get this working.  the solution has evolved from the subject.  It is now "Get multicall line to transfer to another line if not picked up and continue on path of 1st alternative."

The multicall line is setup as ext 0207 100 2000.  Our main Customer service line is put into DND every night at 21:30, this points to an Australian number.

0207 100 7777 points to 3000 in the Tel Dir.  3000 is setup as an ACD queue path.  I have created a call reroute 1st alternative #10 that points to THIS directory number 3000.

Under the call reouting table I have set number 2000 1st alternative to number 10.  So when I call 0207100 2000, if no one picks up within the COS time (15 sec) then the reroute points to the 1st alt:  #10 which is set to point to 3000.

During the day this works fine, if no one picks up 2000 it reroutes to our customer services line 3000 and (I think) goes into the ACD queue before being picked up.

The problem is when that line 3000 goes into DND and points to our Australian number in the evening my call rerouting does not go with it.  It just keeps ringing the Multicall line and the 1st alternative doesn't seem to kick in.
