Mikey-  -I have had some success running applications as service using FireDaemon or a similar "run as windows service" Daemon.

I am trying to check the archives of my mind to remember if this was a solution to this problem but it has been too long ago.
Another option would be to install the autoreporter on a pC that is set to autologon, and put the autoreporter in startup.

This behavior was a pet peeve of mine as well.  I don't know why Mitel does not allow it to run as a service. :o

Anyone know of a way to stop sharing External Visual Voicemail form? We have a cluster, but multiple nupoint vm servers within the cluster. I don't need all MCD's to have the same Visual VM IP address/Hunt Group. The External Visual Voicemail form is greyed out and sharing with All Cluster Members / All records on SDS Form Sharing form.

Turning on Answer Confirmation does the trick, but it is not really an acceptable workaround. When my users answer their mobile phone, they are unable to differentiate between MCD and direct mobile calls; I don't want them to have to answer, say "hello" a few times then go back to their keypad and press a key. What I see happening in the future is this, all users will begin pressing a key whenever they receive a call o n their mobile.  :P

Found the issue. It was the firewall, a rule was missing so outbound packets were being dropped.

Weird behavior:
Direct calls to EHDU will never ring the phone and go straight to mobile phone voicemail.
If EHDU is in PRG, the call will ring the desktop phone once then mobile phone voicemail will answer.
Mobile phone provider: AT&T, have replicated the behavior with Sprint. Outbound calls are over PRI, no analog trunks in play.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am at the end of my rope here...Teleworker phones are intermittently dropping calls after around one minute. MBG version 7.1.21.0, MCD version 5.0 sp2 PR2.
Seeing the following in the event logs:

It seems to report as one-way audio, but on a few test calls there has been no audio in either direction.

I am looking for anyone that may have recently upgraded from 4 to 5 in a clustered environment as a case study. Any caveats, issues, changes in functionality. If you previously used Eman/Opsman, what were any significant changes in administration?

You can ask your mail admin to create an email without an attachment limit, LargeVM@company.com for example, then create a mailbox in your 5000 with voicemail forward to email to that new email address. When you are in your voicemail, and listening to the message, forward it to the newly created voicemail and it should then forward to your new email with no attachment limit log into the email and save the wav attachment to your local computer hard drive. You can then either delete the email and voicemail boxes after you are done, or leave them for future use.

Building screensavers for the 5000 is not a difficult task, but if you would want to build one for each user it can get tedious, depending on how many users you have. You would need the HTML toolkit, for starters, it is available as a Mitel software download. I may actually have it, and can send it to you if you can't find it.
