Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Issue transferring calls 'Select Line'.
« on: September 14, 2017, 04:31:47 AM »
Hello,

I've recently upgraded a MiVB to release 8.0. However now whenever a user tries to transfer a call it now asks the user to select a line to transfer the call.

Is there a way to turn this off and transfer the calls as before without the need of a multi-line key of their handset.

Hello,

I've got an issue where I cannot download audio calls from the MiVoice Call Recorder on the server and get the following error.

Thanks for the help all, the issue has now been rectified - it seems to have been an issue with the cables.

Thanks again.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: MiVB software version in cluster
« on: April 06, 2017, 04:49:57 AM »
I don't have any experience with clustering so I have a noob question. Does all nodes in cluster must have the same software version?

Hi Nowickj,

I believe the response from Mitel is that it's recommended that they all be on the same software version to avoid issues.

Hello,

I have a weird issue on an Axxess system. We have a DKSC16+ card in the system with a digital patch panel connected, if I plug a phone directly into the patch panel it works fine however if you plug the phone into the desk where the cable is ran to then it doesn't power on.

The strange this is, these where all working fine before at the desks - nothing has changed.

Any ideas?

Hi ispt,

Is it a virtual MiVoice Business?

8
are you connecting x-lite to the MBG? what are you calling, a minet set?

X-Lite is  connected to the MCD. I've tried calling voicemail and also outbound via the SIP trunks.

9
I'm using X-Lite and have these Audio Codecs enabled.

As for the SIP device I've configured it on the MCD and just programmed it on the MBG as well but still no luck.

Try using the following website, if you pop the make/model in it will give you a list of compatible headsets you can use.

Hello,

So I've got a call logger setup and recording calls on the Mitel handsets already and everything is working fine. The only problem is that I've setup a SIP extension but the calls are showing as no audio.

The call details are logged, e.g. extension, time of call, length. The only problem is I cannot play it as it shows as no audio recorded.

Is there anything specific I have to do to get this to work and record a SIP device? The port is showing as Idle in the administration programming.

Hi Eia,

You should be able to listen to them through the admin mailbox.

If you log into the mailbox, press 9 then 3 then 1 you should then be prompted to enter the audiotex greeting.

One other note, if an Axxess database is defaulted you will lose the license. Best to have the license file on hand just in case.
Oh, yeah... I forgot about that.

I am going to go back on what I said earlier and fall in behind Tech Electronics... this is something your vendor should probably handle.

It's sounding that way. How do you go about getting the license file now days if you haven't got it to hand?

VoIP Guy,

It is just a simple battery swap, but you will need to be prepared prior to doing it obviously. Make sure you create a current backup of the database on your laptop right before shutting down the system and pulling the card.

Also, Acejavelin is correct in that the light would have always been on if you have a CPS (Call Processing Server) attached to your CPC (Call Processing Card).

Thanks,

TE

One last question - when the battery is swapped over will the system be defaulted? If so how do I get back onto it to restore the backup?

That's brilliant! Thanks so much - I best go and change it then.
