Hey folks I'm new to the forum as well as maintaining a Mitel 5000 system. I've had great support from my vendor but have hit upon a need we have not found the solution to. When a Voice mail is left in our receptionist mailbox it has the correct envelope data (call date, time and caller-id) however when the receptionist forwards the voice mail to the correct extension / voice mailbox, the envelope information is replaced with that of the receptionist extension and date/time of the forwarding.
How can I set the system to forward the original envelope information with the initial voicemail?
Thanks
Paul

You can't... Setup Vmail to Email and forward the email with attachment, it will include in the original timestamp.

Sorry, when you forward it becomes a new message. There's no room for what would essentially be 2 envelopes (original and forwarded). If that's absolutely essential the best solution would be for the receptionist's mailbox to also send her an e-mail, then fwd the e-mail to the user.
