Trying to clear a single line key on an ACD phone. When I attempt to clear the line, I get the message "Users are associated with this Hosted Service". When I look at the telephone directory on all 3 of my controllers, this number does not exist, so there is nothing to remove ahead of time like others have stated to do. We rebooted the controller last night, and still get the same message this morning when I attempt to clear the key. Any ideas?

A "Locate Number" command finds nothing?
-
Locate Number shows: The number refers to a Non Prime Broadcast Group
-
make sure you clear any programming associated with that single line first. i.e call rerouting, groups, tel dir name.
-
Sounds like it could be a hunt group.
-
Like I said, the telephone directory has already been cleared and still get this error. The call rerouting record cannot be deleted as there is no option to delete, which if I recall, it gets deleted once the line gets cleared. This is not a hunt group or any sort of group. Just a single line on an ACD phone. My local Mitel provider is not sure what it could be either and he stated it could be a ghost record somewhere that is not getting cleared up upon reboots of the controllers. Frustrating!

Seen that before! I have a few numbers in our system lingering around.
There is a special access level to the system that allows you to see SDS details (I assume you have a cluster of system with SDS) that is to be used only with the assistance of technical support.
Once activated you will see additional forms of shared data records and have to verify them one-by-one to find the glitch.

Here's a related article; www.mitelforums.com/articles/users-are-assoc-error.php (http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/users-are-assoc-error.php)
I know you said the telephone directory is clear but I'd check it again.
Try doing an export to Excel and then doing a global search for the extension of the button on the phone.

Wasn't there a release that had this issue as a bug?
What release are you running?
-
Double checked the telephone directory on all three controllers and the number does not exist. Yes, we have a cluster of three controllers. We are running Release Level 5.0 SP2 PR2 and software load: 11.0.2.66

Look under "Multiline Appearance Groups" or "Remote Busy Lamps"
I bet it is a key on a phone or a busy lamp somewhere in the system.
-
We actually already did look at these two forms for this number but I double checked now and it does not appear anywhere else besides the ACD phone that it currently resides on.
-
Try changing ACD to no
-
But I need this phone as an ACD phone. So not sure what that will mess up?

Hi, Had this happen before and it turned out to be the Que Alert
-
Tried clearing the que alert first and then going back in to clear the single line, but still get same error. I have a conf. call with Mitel later this week. Sounds like they will have to do some SDS work to get it fixed.

Mitel support ended up fixing this for me. Had to turn on sdsdebug and go into a few user to hosted device forms to clear out the GUID and then clear all keys, turn off resilency, wait, turn on resilency, re-add keys, and that fixed it. I guess it's a known issue with 5.0, whereas 6.0 doesn't have the issue as much.
