Hi,

I was wondering if this was possible.  We have a few ACD groups that have an accouncement application programmed at 45 seconds.  I was wondering if there was a way to have this announcement repeat itself every 45 seconds?

Yes, I believe we do.  Although I've never used it.  Most of what I know of Mitel systems is what I learned from a set of older Inter-Tel Axxess systems.  Mostly the same, but there are some new features.

Our outside lines are brought in through a PRI, and this phantom is dialing a 3rd party company that we deal with.  It's not a huge deal - I just wondering if there's a way to suppress the tone when transferring.  I suppose it would be handled by a loopstart.

My manager is a bit...picky.  Anyway, it was brought to my attention that when a transfer to a Phantom extension that is assigned a number outside of our network, there is a short beep, then it rings the public network.  This to me sounds completely normal.  However, I was asked to see if there was a way to suppress the *beep*...

From my desk phone, dial a phantom -> Phantom is assigned a public number -> my call gets routed to ring the public number

I just seem to remember being able to just have an LED indicator to a specific button on our 8560 phones that allowed for us to see when a message was sitting in a specified mailbox.

I wouldn't really want the ability to dial an alternate Message notification/retrieval app to be dialed in order to review the messages, as that can be done through the existing application.  I'll keep digging.  At the very least, would it be easy to set up an email notification to a group of people (distribution list) when a new message is received?

Hmm, that's not what I expected.  Anyway, do guys/gals know of a way to just have an indicator for a new message?  I can train people to dial the voicemail box directly, but I need a stopgap solution.

Hi,

I have an unassociated mailbox that I would like for a select number of people to have access to (with message indicator LED) through the use of their desk phones.  I have tried programming a key to the VM box, but was unsuccessful.  I know that I can create a message notification endpoint, but that does not work with multiple phones.  HELP!

Thanks.  I've sifted through the logs that you've mentioned, and I do not see anything out of the ordinary.  Is there a known issue with the firmware that we are using?  I must also mention that we are using Xarios as call center software, which works fine.  However, I was wondering if this was known to be a hog on the CPU for the phone switch?

I need to know if there is a system-level view on what is consuming most of our system resources.  Is our CPU too under-powered?

Also, I forgot to mention.  We are running on an HX Controller, 20 Cat A devices, 43 Cat E devices, and below is the software specifics:

DB Programming = v5.1.3.0
Session Manager = v5.1.0.8

Call Processing = 5.1.0.25

Hi,

We have a Mitel 5000 PBX in our office that is experiencing high CPU usage.  From what I can gather, I can only see statistics under 'System Utilization' within A&D.  Is there a way to actually analyze processes, with drill-down capability?  Our CPU was sitting at 100% usage last evening at around 12:30AM, with no calls coming in.  We had one user logged-in to an ACD group, and she was unable to complete or receive any calls without me remotely rebooting the switch.
