Title: Polycom Soundstation IP 6000 and Mitel
Post by: harts on August 17, 2012, 10:01:08 AM
Hi
We have setup a number of polycom soundstation ip 6000 devices but cannot get it to dial 0800 numbers or setup a 3 way conversation. We have looked at the digitmap assignments and so have our support provider, but still cannot get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Can you post a copy of your digit map. Can you also explain how you are dialling, what I have found with Polycom units if you dial number before going off hook it will by-pass the digit map altogether.

Hi,
This is a copy of the digitmap:

[2-9]11|0T|900xxxxxxxxxxx.T|9[0-9]xxxxxxxxxxx|91[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[0-8]xxx|[90]xxxxxxxxxxx

We are trying to dial 080035886xx

The process for dialling is: type the number in and it goes dead tone as i hit the last number. Even if i press the key to get a dialtone it does exactly the same.

We found using the 6000 that you had to upgrade it to the latest software to enable a 3 way conversation. This may be dependent on when you bought it and who from but the 7000 series we bought at the same time worked straight out of the box where the 6000 has been nothing but trouble with it working for a short while and then not being able to get a dial tone before having to reload the software from the ftp site on boot. We currently have a ticket with  Polycom open.
