How do you access the web interface on the 5500?  We used to be able to do this but on the latest batch it does not work.  We were told by Mitel that DHCP option is the only way to get IP settings for the phone but the customer environment is all static, no DHCP, so we need to configure static settings.

A customer has an old SX-200D.  They have a Metrotel Digit Grabber that used to show the extension that dialed a 911 call.  Does anyone have any idea of how this might have been connected to show an extension that called 911?
thanks

We are trying to configure a MiVB CX running 7.2 software as a CO (network side) PRI emulator for testing PRI connections to other PBXs before installing them in the field.  Not able to get the D channel to come up.  Any configuration suggestions would be appreciated.

After spending a couple of hours on the phone with Sonicwall and Mitel support engineers capturing packets and doing Wireshark traces, it turns out that the phone was bad.  All that had to be enabled on the firewall was Sip Transformations.

Thanks for the replies.

By enabling SIP Transformations under the VOIP settings on the Sonicwall, we have progressed from no audio to one-way audio.  The receive audio on the Mitel Superset is working but transmit audio is not.

We are setting up a MiVoice Business 7.2 on a CX II controller.  We have a Fusion SIP trunk without an MBG proxy.  We are able to make and receive calls but there is no audio.  The firewall is a SonicWALL 2400.  Does anyone have any information on how to configure the firewall to pass RTP traffic to the phones after the call is up?

thanks

I was hoping to not have to hard code the VLAN tag on each phone.

I did enable my test port for Voice VLAN and did set 0800-0f00-0000 at the Mitel OUI.  The phone did not look for a DHCP server on VLAN 2.  Have you had this working?

thanks

What kind of trunks are you using to connect to the other sites?  IP or PRI or something else?

We are trying to configure an HP1920 switch to tell a 5340 phone to boot on VLAN 2 which is the PBX VLAN and has the DHCP server for the voice network.  Hoping to get the phone to boot on VLAN 2 and still be able to use the PC port on VLAN1.  Not having much luck.  The switch does not have much of a CLI.  Tried using LLDP settings and Voice VLAN settings.  Not sure if I need both or not.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
