Hey guys,
is it possible to connect to a pbx with telnet and issue a command that would change a phone's configured call forwarding number?
When a user logs on the desktop tool, he's able to connect to a web interface and then able to change the call forward number. Is that possible via a telnet command?
thanks!

admin can log in to any phone via the group programming interface and do the same. You can do it remotely as well if you have remote access to the web interface somehow.

If you're looking to write an application what will via Telnet control the forward functions of a device.
No.

Maybe not via Telnet but surely there is a way to use Mitel's API's.
MiTAI or similar. (Don't ask me how though, I have no idea)
What do you want to achieve?
You may be able to use the scheduler to import a csv when required.

I keep forgetting that's an option. That would work.
But you're right. We don't know the application.
