I fixed my own problem and found that the Application file must be saved as an .htm file and not a .html file otherwise you will get the Communication Error.

Check your HTML and manifest file to be sure that it has all the necessary codes and compare to the sample applications.

I have mine uploaded but now I get a Communication Error and it indicates an HTML App Upgrade at the top of the screen.

Any ideas on how to send that Upgrade to the system?

Thanks TripleD,

that upload worked and I went into the Applications tab and right clicked and it gave me an option to "Manage Application Files"

there you will find your uploaded application. select it and press "add" you should now have that application in the list and you can assign to an application profile.

I am having trouble uploading my .spx file as the uploader gives me an error because it can not connect to the Mitel 5000 switch.  Did you have trouble with the uploader as well, if not what parameters did you set for connectivity to the switch?

Does your Screen Saver still show up in the Applications Tab or is it a missing/corrupt file?
