Title: Can MiCollab use an O365 Address book?
Post by: billz0r on July 15, 2019, 09:31:09 PM
We have a client with MiCollab and a MiVoice Business system (runs as a VM).
They want to be able to have a single address book in O365 and sync the MiCollab client to it. I can see MiCollab calendaring options for O365 but no directory/address book options.
Is this even possible?

Thanks,

The MiCollab Client gets its Directory list from its configured users on the MiCollab Server.
If the MiCollab Server is getting user details from AD, then the two should be in sync.

Thanks,
The client wants to add 3rd party contacts in but wants them in a nice GUI interface (i.e. Outlook). I did offer the normal Telephone Directory in MiVoice Business but that's not what they wanted. We don't give them access to AD either.

I've seen people suggest you could setup additional LDAP connections in MiCollab to import additional directories.

Thanks. I'll look into it. That might be a "later" job.

To add to my own post, I've been informed it can be done by our Mitel partner (Azentro). I'm awaiting a quote for it though as I can't find anything anywhere.

Has anyone tried using MSL as the LDAP provider? I think it would work, perhaps best tried on another server than MiCollab perhaps a MBG.
