We are planning to move to the ASC from the MiVCR and not moving any of the the recordings over, we are just going to leave the old system running as a historical and still access it with management studio, also for the license key look at this KB from Mitel.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MiVB ACD agents going into make busy

Hello,

I have a weird intermittent problem with random hot desk ACD agents while on a call on there primary DN that is setup as a single and button 2 as another single extension to ring so the Agent can put the caller on hold and make another call. The vMiB is running 9.0 SP3 and when agents are free and not in make busy they get the call that was in queue in the skill group finish the call and let the work timer kick in that is set for 15 seconds and then go back to idle state unless there is another call in queue waiting for a free agent, now get this sometimes when the agent has a queue call they answered they need to put the call on hold or transfer the call to another extension and as soon they do that the extension goes into make busy with out them knowing and the supervisor watching the real-time see this and ask them why. Also received a call and started to engage with another extension a non ACD upon calling it appears that agent lost initial call, received another incoming call with which made her go into no make busy. Sorry if this doesn't makes any sense but tried to explain best I could.

Check your microsoft access database engine 2010 by running repair or re-install it. I had a problem you can launch the sysadmin but could not open / connect to the pbx.

Mitel Software Applications / MiCollab for PC Client Softphone

Hello,
I was hoping I could ask some questions about the MiCollab PC client to use the softphone as I'm having trouble installing it from the e-mail invite as will if I use the micollab  pc.msi file. It will not take the token and I would get a error 11, this is version micollab client 8.1.0.61 sever version and client version 8.1.49 (build:19), I was able to get the MiCollab UCA v7.3.0.366 working on my laptop. Is there any special ports or setup for the PC client as well can I just us a web browser to us if I don't want to install the client?

Are your IP phones sharing the same data port, the phone plugs into the data jack and a PC connects to the back of the phone? Also you should setup vLans for data and voice and tag the ports for voice with Qos.

Just touching base to see if anyone has connected the Office250 to a Open Text Fax Gateway 2100 via T1/E1 card and if there is any documentation? The setup will be two ports on a Dual T1/E1 card, one port setup as a T1 and the circuits as OPX / single extensions and the other port as a PRI with DIDs pointing to phantom extensions with fwd always to a analog voice mail hunt group that will have the OPX ports that I have down before with another fax server with this setup but not with the Open Text Fax Gateway 2100.

Mitel Software Applications / Marquee Variables Problem

Good Afternoon,
I'm having a problem getting my call waiting and longest waiting Variables to work in a new marquee for 2 new ACD queues. I have compared a working marquee to create the same way but I can not get the Variables to work for call waiting and longest waiting, my other two variables for handle and % total abandon work perfect for the new queues. What am I missing and do I need to turn on something in YSE?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Mitel v6.3 sysadmin will not install

I have a customer who does not SWA and we are trying to install the 6.3 SP4 sysadmin 6_3_99_0-SysAd_6_3_8_99-DBP-64bit and the 32bit software and it fails during the diagnostics part stating make sure the .NET 4.0 or greater is installed and turned on, this happen on two laptops and the network admin made sure all the .net is installed as well logged in as a admin.

Tech Support just let met know of the patch that fixes this problem, see below.

The patch is available on our ftp site to fix this issue.

Upgrade the system to the 6.3 PR1 software
Upgrade the system with the no audio patch.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / MiVoice Office 250 Hunt Group recall

I think I know the answer but I want to be sure, I have question if I have systems networked that are all 250's for example a doctors office and at the local site if calls ring into a hunt group that ring the local members/agent ID's and I setup a recall to a off-node hunt group that rings into that works fine, what happens to the calls at the local site that rings the hunt group and then recalls to the off-node location but the IP networking is down or the do not have enough of the networking license for example the 6 license with v4.0 and higher, do they go to the local primary attendant just like a trunk group ring in to an application on the voice mail and the voice mail is down that goes to the primary attendant?

On the remote phones they are not using peer to peer as they are in it's own group.

I have a problem with remote IP phones that we just setup for users to work from home, this is a CS-5000 system that used IP phone internal with no problems and two of them need to work from home so we set up 1 to 1 Nat both to the PM and the PEC-1 with the correct ports to be opened on there firewall that is a sonicwall that there IT person programmed the Nat. The problem that I'm having is with the remote phone as a test from my office the phone connects and if a call another extension I can hear them but they can not hear me and on the phone Insufficient Bandwidth pops up, called tech support and we went over the IP connections information as well made sure the extension was set to Nat. Does this sound like a firewall problem on the sonicwall not setup right and has anybody had this happen to them with a sonicwall?

I think it would be sip to connect the 5000 to the cisco.
