Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / Communication issues from Satellite system to Master on Mitel A-470 AIN set up

Hi all,
We have a Mitel A-470 AIN set up.Both the systems(Master and Satellite) are on Release 4.1 HF4 .Earlier, whenever we had a network failure then the Satellite system would reboot automatically and would come up and show " Satellite in offline mode" on the display of Mitel A-470. Post this both the Master and the Satellite systems would continue to function as individual systems. When network comes up then the satellite would reboot again and the display would show "Mitel" and communication between Master and Satellite would be established.Now we face an issue where when the network is down then the Satellite doesn't reboot but when we login through web access then the main page post login shows AIN:Sattelite is online .We have to manually reboot almost 3-4 times .Each time the Satellite system comes up we face a different issue .After First reboot we get a long busy tone on every phone and there will be no internal communication. After second reboot we find there is no dial tone at all on any extension. After Third reboot we find that we get dial tones on extensions and we can even call extensions in Master but We cannot hear the other party,means Satellite cannot hear the Master system's extensions.Only after fourth reboot that the communication would be fully established.I have the crash logs taken while rebooting the system for the third and fourth time respectively but since its in .gz format so not sure whether i can post it here.

Please help me in resolving this issue .

Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / Outgoing from PRI trunks gets blocked automatically on Mitel A-470

Hi all,
Request your help on this issue . I have been reported and i have personally noticed that the outgoing calls from ISDN PRI suddenly stops  working automatically once in a while. At first i thought it was something related to the permission set but later found out its not. Here i have only 2 permission sets configured which are 1 and 2 .1 is for unrestricted external access and 2 is no external access . This outgoing issue resolves when i restore the back up of previous day from the back up files stored inside the Mitel communication server.This system's release was previously a 4.1 HF1 which i upgraded to 4.1 HF4 . This was thought as a one off issue when we were reported the first time 3 months back. But in a span of 3 days this issue got repeated twice and every time iam just restoring a previous day's back up or a manual back up from the same date. Can anyone please help?

Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / No SMDR raw data output from Mitel A-470

Hi all,
Request your help in resolving the SMDR issue in Mite A-470.I have programmed the settings in charges>general but can't get any raw data when i connect to Mitel A-470 using Tera term(equivalent of Hyperterminal).I type in the IP of Mitel and port no 1080 but not receiving any data. I tried the same using putty but no result there too.For your information i have enclosed the screenshots of the SMDR settings in Mitel.Please help me.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Calls to third party Conference Bridge disconnects randomly

Hi all,
We have a Mitel 3300 CX with rls 8.0 pr1 active sw load 14.0.0.91 .One PRI and 4 analog trunks . There are no issues of disconnection whatsoever for local or long distance calls. However, when we make a call to an International Conference Bridge (in UK) we observe a random disconnection of calls after being in conference for two minutes and getting a fast busy tone and "time out" on the display.  We have taken traces earlier on an extension which experienced this disconnection issue.Here it is :

We couldn't figure out from where this disconnection was happening from these traces. Can anyone please help us to understand and make changes in Mitel controller (if any) accordingly  ?

Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / AIN setup not working on A-470

Hi,
We have 2 Mitel MiVoice A-470 systems which we tried to network through AIN. The AIN along with expansion license has been applied on the Master system and we have configured the Master's IP on satellite system .We are facing an issue where we are not able to allot media resources (VoIP channels) on Satellite system. Due to this no calls are getting on both sides. I have provided the screenshots taken from both Master and Satellite systems for your reference.Since this is a first install for me so can you please provide guidance ?I have followed the technical document which i got from Mitel site but of no help.Did someone had practically experienced this issue and resolve it?

Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / Will AIN Licence work without expansion license on Mitel A470

Hi,
We have 2 Mitel A-470 systems which needs to be configured in a Master- Satellite environment .
At present both the systems have 60 days trial licenses activated on them .Of these 2 systems one system has expansion license which we are configuring as satellite system.
The second system doesn't have expansion license and this system has to be configured as Master.
We have been provided AIN license but that has been clubbed to second system that doesn't have expansion license.
Therefore,we want your opinion whether we can apply this AIN license to the second system and need to activate expansion license first on 2nd system(PBX).

Aastra - MiVoice Office 400 and MiVoice MX-One / Crackling Voice on SIP Users & SIP nwk (A-470 networked via SIP with Hipath 3800

Hello everyone,
Iam very glad that i discovered such a forum exists so i hope it would be very useful and informative. Iam doing an installation of Mitel A-470(ver4.1).The configuration is 130 analog extensions,2 SIP extensions( 6737i and 6873i),one ISDN PRI and SIP networking ports(8nos).The PBX at the other end is Siemens Hipath 3800.The network is up with 8 SIP channels for voice communication Iam facing strange issue(s) which i am explaining below :

1. Calls from Mitel Analog extensions to Mitel SIP extensions and vice versa have disturbances in voice .Analog user reports a cracking voice when he receives a call from SIP user but SIP user can hear the analog user perfectly.
2.Calls from Mitel Analog extensions to Siemens Hipath 3800 extensions too have the same voice disturbances.The Siemens user can hear the voice properly but Mitel analog user gets crackling voice while speaking.
3.Calls from Mitel SIP extensions to PSTN via ISDN PRI too have same voice disturbances.The external party reports crackling voice  whereas their voice is clear on the SIP extension.

As a part of resolving this issue I have isolated both the SIP extensions ie i have disconnected both of them from customer's POE switch and have connected them to LAN1.3 and LAN1.4 in Mitel A-470.I have 2 POE injectors from where i have connected both the SIP phones.I have also removed the customer LAN cable connected to LAN1.2 and i have put both the SIP phones in the same IP series as the Mitel A-470.After that when i tested i found all the calls were working fine(Ana-SIP,SIP-Ana,SIP-PSTN).The only testing that wasn't done was calls between Mitel analog and Siemens as we had removed customer LAN cable.

Now,i request can anyone please help me with LAN port settings or port configuration on either Mitel or Cisco switch that would be needed to make it work.Please note that the switch used here is a Cisco Catalyst 2960-X series.
