First, I have no idea how this was working to begin with, but now this is broken.
All I did was replace an on-prem email spam filter, with a cloud based server.

My vm xfer to other branches no longer works.  I was told to 'simply' create DNS entries for the controllers on my internal DNS.  I can not do this as the "PTR record cannot be created, probably because the reference reverse lookup zone cannot be found"

Should I manually create the reverse lookup zone on my DNS?

I just noticed there is a drop down for notes in my active call box.  Where can i\I learn more about this feature?
What the purpose is, where they are stored, etc..

Yes.  MiCollab.  I have tweaked some timers and I believe I have this worked out.
Not super pretty, but it does seem to be working

I am trying to get a MiCollab option under a user to dial into their voicemail box.
* if there is a better way, I am all ears! *

So far, I have added a new device:
Description = VM
Number = 2501,*,1180

KEY
2501 = main vm ext
"," = a wait command (worked on a system from 10 years ago as wait)
"1180" = my ext

Basically what I tried to accomplish is to code out the manual key entry if I did this myself.

I think this may work...still testing it out

Unfortunately I now need the phone to be usable when the user is in the other location. The phone tech for my support stated an ACD might be my best option.

That WORKS!
now, when no one is logged into the ACD, the internal ext will not ring through.
States = IS BUSY

I am experimenting with this right now:

ACD w/agent
ACD is linked to voicemail (vm to email) and DID

This appears to work just great!
However, internal calls to the ACD ext shows on the phone = CALL RINGING FOR HG XXXX"

Anyway to rename this somewhere?

Has anyone heard when, or if, Mitel is going to release cross node hotdesking?

Is there anyway to do this now?
I now have 2 people who this would be beneficial for.

Not getting anywhere, so I removed the phone, user and voice mailbox form the controller and reset it up.  Hopefully that will fix things.
