I have a 5360 and the message button does nothing. What could be the issue?

The message button only works when flashing

I understand, it is flashing but it is not doing anything.

pickup the handset or click speaker before pressing the msg button? Check your associated devices under the extension and make sure everything in there is programmed correctly (Primarily the voicemail)
