Hi All,
let me begin introducing myself, I'm a NOT a PBX or Phone specialist, i'm an IT technician helping a friend. So please be patient with me.
In July the PBX (Mitel 430) while working has turned in Recovery mode (1 second Red blinking status led on booting). I can find the IP, i have installed the REcovery software for emergency procedure, but what i'm missing is the firmware/base software. The Mitel technician who have installed the system is no longer available as they have bankrupted.
My friend doesn't have any licenses' back up. What can they do?

Does a reboot not fix it?
The license code/file is tied to a specific SW level and to that system's EID. It is best to go through an authorised Mitel partner.

How can i find the EID?

Have you checked for a label sticker on the 430 with the EID on it?
