I don't know if there is a pattern, it seems pretty random with file names. I'm sure there is meta data stored in them but no idea how to extract that.

Not sure if it's possible for you to install MiVCR again and do orphan recovery to get the data recreated.

I'm going to assume it's because you don't need G729 licenses with 6.2 as you do with 4.1 and they probably weren't purchased.

Is only on particular extensions or only when you reach a certain amount of calls?

Also how are the recording ports setup in MiVCR. i.e. are they dynamically allocated (late binding) or dedicated to each extension?

Couple of things
When a call is showing "No Recording Port" go to MiVCR system admin and look at Calls Status (Server > Recording Manager > Calls Status) do the details look correct? I have had issues where it thought is was a different extension number than what was actually on the call.

Check Device Monitors (just under Calls Status) are the required extensions "active", if not restart the L2OAI service (this will be service affecting, no calls will record during this)

Are the extensions external? i.e coming into the MBG via the WAN?

I'm no expert on MiVCR so assistance from me is going to be pretty limited.

Does the MiCollab client sign in and you can see presence etc.. of other users? Is it just the softphone that doesn't work? Does it register?

Cause
As of version 88 of Chrome, more aggressive memory management processing within Chrome causes background browser tabs to suspend certain program 'timers'. When this occurs, the real-time SignalR connection between the Web Ignite Client and MiContact Center server is interrupted and the client loses connection, resulting in the end-user needing to reconnect to Web Ignite before it can be used again.
 
Resolution

Disable the throttling of background tasks (Google Chrome) / sleeping tabs (Edge)

Chrome:

In the address bar, type in chrome://flags and then press CTRL-F and search for the word throttle.
Set Throttle Javascript timers in background to disabled.
Close and re-launch Chrome, restart your Web Ignite session.

Edge:

In the address bar, type in edge://flags and then press CTRL-F and search for the word sleep.
Set Throttle Javascript timers in background to disabled.
Close and re-launch Edge, restart your Web Ignite session.

 
Additional Notes

Microsoft can also enforce background script timer throttling via a Group Policy. If changing these browser settings has no effect, work with the local system administrator and refer to this link for details on Microsoft enforcement:

Are they using Chrome v88+ ?

Cause
This issue was caused by an update in Google Chrome/Windows
Resolution
There are two resolutions that have been found in the field.

Firstly, you can roll back Google Chrome to a version pre v88 or use an alternative browser.

Secondly, we found the issue to be with Windows build 19041. There was a windows feature update 2h20 which when applied it changed the build to 19042. Once this was done the timeout issue was resolved

For something like key programming I normally export the "Multiline Set Keys" for and then filter with excel from there.

No worries, I always forget it on new SA&D installs myself. I usually change the SSH and HTTPS ports of my installs.

In SA&D you have to enable IP Ports to be seen on the connections. You only enable it once so it's easy to forget.
Options > Advanced > Show IP Ports.

I've had issues where if I delete and recreate extensions it sometime doesn't associate properly for some reason.

You could try and stop then start the Level2 OAI service. This will be service affecting. i.e. Calls won't record while it restarts

lunda - When I enable "Relax set RTP checks" the KPML wants me to put a "Confirm KPML password" to match whats in the field currently. I'm not sure what do put here?

dilkie - Could you provide me more specifics on the signaling trace and where I would find that? Would it be in a specific log or event?

It sounds like your browser is saving passwords and trying to to fill the KPML password. Just delete it before you save.

In YSE you would add a new extension. From there you can choose the extension type which would be "UPiQ port 5020 IP"
