Thanks for the update.

There's a lot if little things with this product that don't make clear sense.

When connecting via a SRC/MBG my understanding is that it doesn't use the method to fork the RTP to the MIR, it is done via the SRC/MBG.

Do you still have your phones connected via the MBG and the MBG setup in the MIR integration?

My thoughts is that the IP Address that the phone is registering to the MX-One will be that of the MBG so it can't send the forking request to the phone as it won't be correct.

That does sound like the case and would explain what's happening.

If you have the user forward their extension to the internal extension number it should work as you want.

Yes you can.

Look at Configuration > Routing > CLIP based routing

You can assign numbers in there to reject the call. You then apply the CLIP based routing to the CDE.

Be careful if you connected the LAN port to the live network, by default the Mitel TA will be a DHCP on it's LAN port. IT guy might not be happy with you.  ;D

It is set in the DB itself.

There is a KMS article about this issue.  HO2931

Agree, use TNA tool to run these tests. (download from diagnostics section of MBG)

Also your connection fails to TFTP port 69 and 20001 because you are testing with TCP, TFTP will use UDP.

Hi and welcome from across the ditch.

I'm sure your input is going to be greatly valued here.

FWIW, I have a few scripts i threw together to aid in finding those needles in the haystack, especially on busy sites.

Definitely worth it.

Thanks.

I am assuming a physical controller. This is a known issue.

If you have access to KMS look at  SO5184.

The solution is to download the tcpdump package from Mitel KMS and install it or upgrade to at least 9.1.0.94 as it was fixed in that release.

The new version has been submitted and is waiting for review and approval. This is from Mitel's knowledge base.

I believe you can request the APK if you urgently need it.

try this in your config file instead.

sip register blocking: 0  # necessary to connect to 3rd party

Wow, that's a trade secret.

I can confirm that this works. I've always wanted to know this.

Thanks!!

The Mitel 400 is what we would normally put in for digital endpoints. Is also our go to for hospitality.
