Title: Hiding Caller ID on incoming call
Post by: achilleterzo on September 28, 2011, 11:13:28 AM
Hi all, thank for this great resource for mitel.

We have some problem to hide the caller id from our phone.

Actualy we used a 0 value on "After Answr Display Time" under phone and agent CoS.
It resolved the problem and show the correct queue text until an agent transfer the call.

After a transfer, this setting get lost and caller id overwrite queue label.

How i can prevent this?

There is a CoS option to prevent the internal sending of the caller ID. This only works within a Mitel switch/network. Interworking via DPNSS or Qsig will not responde to that option. Maybe this is what you're looking for.

The option is from release 8.0 onwards and is called:
Suppress Delivery of caller ID display between sets and Suppress Delivery of caller ID display between sets Override.
