Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Upload WAV file to VM Box

Thanks. It was a popup issue. I was asked if I wanted to cancel further dialogue popups, I had clicked Yes.   :D

Once I logged out and back in again, and clicked No when prompted, it worked fine.

Nothing at all relating to the WAV file upload.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Upload WAV file to VM Box
« on: November 06, 2014, 06:18:03 AM »
Hi All

I've been asked to upload some per-recorded voice-mail greetings to our Mitel 3300 system. The files are the correct file-type and bit-rate etc, but all I'm seeing is:

File Upload : Success. Please wait for Audio Upload to complete

It finally times out, and the wav file never seems to get applied to the VM Box.

Has anyone has a similar issue?

Thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Voicemail to Email Timestamp
« on: August 14, 2012, 04:58:28 AM »
Hi All

We've got a strange issue with the timestamps on our voicemail to email.

If I leave a message now (0955hrs), the voicemail is emailed to the staff member successfully but the time the voicemail was sent is shown as exactly 5 hours later (1455hrs). The clocks on all our email servers are correct, as is the clock on the Mitel controller. This is only affecting the emails from the Mitel controller and no other emails. Has anyone seen any issues like this before?

Thanks

Jason

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / User Speedcall - 5312 IP Phone
« on: July 23, 2012, 10:21:52 AM »
Hi All

One of my users has asked if we can program an international number on one of his programmable keys, but when we do, all that we get after pressing the key is our dial-tone.

The user can dial the number manually, which is why I assumed we can just program one of his keys. All our users are required to enter a client code prior to the actual phone number, so the syntax would be as follows:

49 xxxx # 9 00 971 5555 5555

Where xxxx is a client code for internal use and 9 is for an external line. Might there be a limit on the number of characters for a User Speedcall assignment?

Thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Hotdesking with 5312
« on: September 01, 2011, 11:09:03 AM »
Hi All

I'm trying to get Hotdesking configured on our standalone 3300 but for some reason it doesn't want to work. I think it might be my misunderstanding about how it should work in theory, but here is what I've done, follwed by what happens.

I've created a new COS and enabled:

HCI/CTI/TAPI Call Control Allowed
HCI/CTI/TAPI Monitor Allowed
Hot Desk Login Accept

I've configured a Multiline IP Telephone with an extension of 248  (I think this could be my problem!)
The previously created COS has been assigned to the Multiline device above
I've created a new Multiline IP Telephone as a Hotdesk User with a number of 260
Under Station Service Assignment, I've assigned the COS to both 248 and 260

When I connect a new phone to the network, I have to register it on the network, which I do using the 248 DN. This works fine, and the display shows the time and date, under which, it shows EXT#:248

If I enter our FAC for Hotdesk Logoff,  the display eventually shows Enter Your Ext#:

If I try to use DN 260 with the correct PIN, the display very quickly displays Error: Feature Failed and the display goes back to the Time and date etc.

Have I completely overlooked something, or have I missed the point entirely with this hotdesking feature?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion Ralph. I'll give that a go.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Selective Call Forwarding - 3300
« on: July 22, 2011, 08:48:28 AM »
Hi All

Is there a way I can configure a 5340 phone in order that the user can press a button to forward just Ext calls to another extension, and another button to forward All calls to another extension? I've got it setup at the moment with Call Fwd Always, but the user would like to be able to select which calls are forwarded.

Thanks

Jason
