MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Reboot Mitel 5000 with a PS1 attached.
« on: March 04, 2016, 11:12:40 AM »
Hi guys,

Just after a bit of advice. I need to reboot a 5000 with a PS1.
I cannot get into the programming tool or log in to the web page either which is the reason i need to reboot it.

I can SSH into the PS1 server and can see a reboot system option in there.
Is it just a matter of rebooting there and waiting, and the 5000 chassis will not need its own reboot ?

Thanks in advance :)

Mitel Software Applications / Using an MSL 10 box as a VPN Server
« on: March 27, 2014, 06:24:42 PM »
Hi,

I have a site i have installed which has an MXE III with MCD 6
Also a MAS with MBG in server-gateway mode which acts as a SIP proxy (physical)
I use the MAS server as a VPN server for remote access, we use the certificate with the VPN account.
I can connect and browse the MAS fine remotely but cannot talk to anything else although everything sits on a flat network.
If i ssh to the MAS remotely i can ping to other devices fine, but not from the remote pc (have tried multiple pc's).

Anyone have any ideas? It won't be local networks, just a bit stumped.

Thanks!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Curious about a Day Service Maint Log
« on: August 04, 2013, 11:14:46 AM »
Hi all,

Looking at the attached maint log, would that indicate that the system was put into day service by an application?
The system is on MCD4 so no scheduler.
The programmed day/night service maint commands are off and i am not aware of OPS Man or anything else that could be switching the service modes.
I know if a console does it, it would indicate that with a slightly different log.
A bit confused  :o

Thanks

Mitel Software Applications / OPS Man problem with backups
« on: July 30, 2013, 01:24:43 PM »
Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this.
Enterprise Man 6.2 with OPS Man 9.2 installed on Windows 2008.
Trying to backup 3300's with the OPS Man and straight away it fails.
Checked, double checked, triple checked everything is set up right.

When the backups fail to 3300's, there is no indication on the 3300 that the backup even started.

But in the event viewer i get the following.

-----
Faulting application adbrhdlr.exe, version 9.2.0.2, time stamp 0x4c51b38d, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00000000, process id 0x1244, application start time 0x01ce8d40d9899ebe.
------

adbrhdlr.exe is the process to run the backups and it seems to be crashing.

Anyone had this before, or can shed some light on it?

Thanks!  :)

Hi,

Not a help request just some info for other techies.
It doesn't work  >:(
Works ok with Exchange 2010 SP1 but not with SP2.
Fix coming in UCA 5.1 in November.
However you can still use the integration between client and local Outlook etc etc.
Again no word from Mitel unless you run into this problem and log a tech support ticket.

Just thought others would like to know.

Cheers

Mark.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / There are no more room for records
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:10:31 PM »
Hi,

I have a couple of CX's running 7.1 software.
Recently i have been trying to add phones and keys and i get this message whenever i try to save.
Now on the SX2000 this could be something to do with Dimensions etc etc but these CX's only have about 10-11 phones on.
I am thinking a backup/restore but don't want to if anyone has any better ideas, talking to Mitel will be a battle as they have no software assurance and i will need to plead with my leader to pay for a ticket on a tiny maintenance contract.

Cheers

Mark.
