Title: MIVoice Office 400 Delayed subgroup
Post by: ogghi on July 06, 2018, 07:13:29 AM
Hi People,

I am trying to make a user group for internal alerting in case of fire, medical help etc.
It is nothing required or similar by law, we just want to have it.

Though, what we'd like to achieve is that if nobody answers the call from the group it should call ambulance.
There is an option   Delayed subgroup where I added a test user. But when would it call this user? Waited for 30-40 seconds, nothing.
Where can the delay be defined?

Thanks
David

How are trying to get the call to the ambulance?
I assume you have a call forward on a user and then added them to the delayed subgroup.
Don't think this will work as you expect, the call will not follow the forwarding if you are in a user group. It will remove you (absent) from it.
You can keep the user in the group with external forwarding but it won't call the external number.

What I would do is create a CDE that has the user group of the members you want and then have no answer from that CDE to another with the user that is forwarded to the ambulance.

I haven't tried this but it should work.
