Release level: 7.2 SP1
Active software load: 13.2.1.25
It's becoming increasingly hard to find 5607 SIP phones for our system. Are there any other readily available options similar to the 5607 that would work with our 3300 pbx?
I don't want anything that requires a gateway like the 5610. We are using IPBS2-D3 as base stations.

Maybe a 5613 if you don't need messaging.

Engenius makes a good SIP cordless phone...

What about just adding a SIP client to a cell phone?

Do you know if it will pair with a Mitel DECT SIP cradle?
edit: I mean Mitel DECT SIP Basestation

This looks like a great option, however it is not listed in my "Device Type" listing on the 3300 user and service configuration. Maybe Generic SIP phone will work?
Though they also seem hard to come by.

Is SIP over WiFi an option? We use the Grandstream WP825 connected to Wi-Fi which gives us better range over being tied to a dect base station. Pretty easy to program the device to point to the MiVB and configure a SIP extension. I do have one Mitel 5634 on Wi-Fi as well but for the cost with the same functionality and an easier setup I prefer the GS WP825.

For some of my users we have a segmented, public-only wifi network that would require the phones to be in teleworker mode, or on a VPN so I tend to gravitate toward the DECT base stations that we can hardwire.

This won't be practical for our purposes. We have several stores and need basestations/cordless phones for our warehouses.
