If you are using MICC 7.0 or newer you will need to follow the KB article below.

Calls can be set to record according to the Call Filters, and if you have match all set it could eliminate some calls.

The attachment show only inbound calls are recorded.

I use the old XP version of sound recorder which allows recording in the proper *k u-law format without converting.  They work every time and don'[t sound so "tinny" or "lispy".  The key is to get the recordings into the correct folder.

Richard has the voicemail set on his extension, does this mean that I don't need to set a VM as an overflow since Richard's should always push to voicemail if he does not answer?

If the call is coming in as a DID number on PRI or  SIP it would go to vm but not know which mailbox to go to since you don't have a mailbox for that DID number.  I am not sure what happens if it is a CO trunk.

5 second ring time is almost too short to be able to answer.

For your "all call" you could program a multicall key on the phones that you want to answer and use that extension in your ring group

When this happens have you run a SIP STATS ALL  maintenence command to verify you didn't have 22 calls inbound?

You can go to the Hardware Tab, open the Modules Subtab and choose Analog services units.  If it shows on the Installed type then the system is "seeing" it.

Have the recording start with the recording start/stop on the oaisys desktop client.

Then just have the agent hit transfer/conference key dial the extension/Hunt group pilot number and then hit transfer/conference  again.

Recording may stop while "conferencing" the caller to the ivr, but should start again after reconnected

Non-Mitel Chatter / Re: Entrance cable
« on: June 10, 2015, 11:25:24 AM »
The carrier placed a Handhole(18"Wx24L"x 24"D) access point in the underground run approximately at the halfway point between the Pole and the Entrance point.  There is a Loop at this point(150' of cable) and it is visible as it rises vertically at the Pole, at both locations it is possible to read the OFNR designation.  The Carrier claims to have checked the cable and this is their response "Currently our OSP department has reviewed and determined that fiber meets the required standards so there will not be any further action at this time"

Technically it should follow the NEC, but in Flint MI they do not inspect the telecom.

Non-Mitel Chatter / Entrance cable
« on: June 03, 2015, 10:34:47 AM »
My telecom carrier had installed a fiber optic cable in the building. It enters the building in the basement, goes through a veritcal riser in the air handling rooms, on each floor, then runs through the open plenum ceiling into the server room where it terminates.  This cable is an OFNR rated cable,  It also extends through the wall, underground to a Handhole, further through the ground before ascending a pole and then continuing aerial.  Is this the correct cable type for this application?

The uc360's have a setting on the phone itself for the inband /out of band, and for our SIP trunks they needed to be changed to out of band dtmf to call into conference bridges.  When we are using our PRI's for outbound they work with either inband or out of band dtmf.

I realize this is an old thread but I am trying to turn on the SMDR disconnect feature. i am running MCD 6.0SP3. I have tried logging in to telnet port 23 and every pw combination I have tried fails, I have tried system and default pw, my everyday esm username and pw, system and current pw all to no avail .  Any ideas?
