Might try using call director, menu where 1 continues and 2 tries another callflow in alternate language

Do you have multiple languages installed and the appropriate FCOS bits enabled for dual languages?

And that leads to a point, what do you mean "for a mailbox to use"... for the owner or the caller, and for a single mailbox or the system?

I'm not sure if multi languages were installed but I can check tomorrow. Question: how does that change the english recorded greetings? Would that only change the prompts?

Thanks for the reply. I don't think this one has any features except the receptionist. I checked docs and can't find anything on call director. This system uses a serial connection for programming and only had the most basic option purchased.

It does not effect the greetings, it just plays additional ones based on the FCOS bits for the mailbox. The multilanguage settings are for the Receptionist are in off-line system settings if I recall correctly, it has been a very long time since I have messed with multi-languages on an old Mitel Mail/Nupoint box (your reference to serial programming puts this box in the 90's) so my memory might be foggy. BTW, if this is the QNX OS based model you might want put a bug in the customers ear, they might have the last operating one that exists, most of these died 15+ years ago.  ;D
