Title: Multicall Extension
Post by: buttonsandzips on October 05, 2010, 11:06:06 AM
Hi, I have setup a SIP user which connects the 3300 to a conference server.  So in essense the conference server connects to the 3300 as a SIP extension.  DIalling this sip extension connects to the caller to the conference system.  However this can only take one call at a time.  Is there a way to enable the line to handle multiple calls as the conference server is capable of this?

Program each line with a unique number.  Doesn't matter if DID or not.
Next create a hunt group with the DID number you want to use.
Put all then newly created line in as members.
Set the hunt group to "terminal" mode.

........Or from the help file:

SIP Device Capabilities Assignment
To program the generic SIP device as a multiline set, enable the "Replace System based with Device based In-Call Features" field. Complete the other fields as required. Additionally, at least one of the keys of the SIP device must be configured as Multicall to its own prime DN or Key System to another DN in the Multiline Set Key Assignment form

Oh I suppose you could do it the easy way as bobcheese suggest.

But really!  What fun would that be?

Went with the hunt method which is working having created 8 lines as keys and added all those to the group.

Might try the other method though as it looks neater.  Thanks to you both.
