I would like to be able to see how a user has set up their statues (i.e. what statues they have and what devices it rings to) from the server side. I know that there is somewhere that this information can be extracted because I watched support do it once on a putty session. That said, it is one of those things that they don't want to share, I opened a new ticket with support and they say it is not possible and all I can do is reset the statuses to default.

Anyone know how this is possible and/or where in the directory structure I might even start looking for files containing this information?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Load balancing between 3 TDM gateways

Ok, I obviously did not explain this properly.

There will be a vMCD with all users registered to it and 3 CX Media gateways with PRI's. The CX Media Gateways are located in different physical locations. Realistically, I think I'm going to need to segregate the users into groups and build different route lists to send them out a different gateway per user. Just looking for alternate opinions.

I believe i know the answer to this, but wanting to check.

I have a vMCD going in with approximately 500 users. There will be 3 different TDM gateways with a PRI each. Is there any way to easily load balance the outgoing calls between the three gateways or am I looking at some sort of convoluted COR/ARS route list solution to achieve some sort of balance?

Ok, I got this to work. It does NOT work with an ACD express group though.

I created a new ACD path, the pilot dosen't matter, and CRR Always my day terminating DN to this path in Night. I then created a new skill group with no members and set it to queue calls with no logged in agents. I created a new phantom single line key CRR Always to voicemail, the DN matches my night call director mailbox. My new ACD path inter-flows to the single line DN that matches my mailbox number after one second.

When i tried this before, I had my ACD path matching the mailbox and interflowing to voicemail, but it requires the additional step of interflowing to another DN before going to voicemail to function the way I wanted it to.

doesn't work. I actually tried this with a traditional ACD path before with an empty skill goup but this is a little different.
I added a new ACD express group with the pilot matching my night mailbox, set the interflow to the voicemail pilot after 1 second and set the "queue callers when no agents logged in to" yes. Calling a DID assigned directly to this path answers with the correct mailbox but when I call the DID that is re-routed here in N1 or N2 I still end up in the originally called DN's mailbox.

OK, I'm losing my mind here, this can't be this difficult.

I have a DID on a PRI that rings to an auto attendant. When the system is in Day, it should ring to a "day greeting" and when the system is in N1 or N2 it should go to a Night greeting. I have the DID pointed at a phantom single line extension that is CRR always to voicemail in day mode. This is answered by a call director mailbox that matches the phantom single line extension number and works fine. In N1 and N2, that phantom single line extension is CRR always to a Nametag hunt group that is then CRR Alway to voiemail. This is answered by a different call director mailbox that matches the DN of the nametag hunt group. This works fine, except that if the caller dials anything from the night greeting ant it is routed back to voicemail (i.e. an extension number that is subsequently unanswered or a ACD path that is unavailable and sent back to voicemail) then the caller just ends up back in the nigh call director mailbox. I figure this is because of the nametag hunt group, its like the call hangs on to that nametag even after its is blind transferred out of voicemail. If I change the nametag group to a normal hunt group, then the call ends up in the day greeting.

I have a user that is using Management Studio to connect to a MiVoice Call recording server over a VPN. They are intermittently getting a message " forcibly closed by remote host" and have to re connect. any idea what could be causing this? IT says that dont see any drops in the VPN.

Is there any way to view the speed dials that are programmed in the sets form the CDE? I'm upgrading a customer from an SX200ICP to a 3300 I they all have a bunch of speed dials programmed on their sets that they want to keep.

System is a 3300 with a MiContact center IVR answering all the calls. All calls arrive via PRI. When calling in from another PRI or an analog line there is no issues, but when I call from a cell phone almost every time I miss the first 3-4 seconds of the greeting. Is there something I can change on the PRI to fix this or is it just a matter of inserting a pause before the greeting in the IVR?

156 phones that are programmed for the wrong element. I talked to tech support for both MiCollab and NuPoint and they both said the same thing, I can't change the network element without deleting the phone and I cant delete the phone without removing the mailbox.

I am going to have to delete and recreate all phones and mailboxes and all the users are going to have to set up their mailboxes again.

Is it possible to pull a report from the NuPoint with the FCOS and advanced UM usernames for each mailbox?

We have a customer that we are configuring flow through provisioning for. They did not ever have single point provisioning enabled and have create a ton of phones themselves. The issue is that when they created the phones, they did not associate it with the correct network element in users and services. I am now seeing this as an error in the reconcile wizard. The help advises to reassign the phone to the correct element but, as far as I can tell, there is no way to do this. Can I change the element of a phone that has already been created in users and service without deleting it? If not, is it possible to delete a phone from users and services without deleting the mailbox that is associated with it?

Hey Ralph, did this ever get done? I have a couple customers that want to do this.

I am upgrading an AX controller running ICP software version 8 to the latest release of MCD and have run into an issue.

the MCD software requires 512MB of RAM and a 2GB system flash card. The current system has 256MB of RAM and a 1 GB flash card. I have the new RAM module and new 2GB and 4GB (voicemail) flash cards.

As far as I understand, I will need to backup the system, install the new RAM and CF's then do a full install of the MCD 4 SP4 software and restore my backup. I can then convert to SDS then upgrade to MCD7.2. My issue with this, however, is that I cannot backup voicemail on an AX controller. Does this include all voicemail greetings, RAD greetings and embedded MOH or is it just mailbox messages that are lost? If it is everything, is there a way to back these up and restore them once the upgrades have been done?

Thanks

Is it possible, using SPP to an MCD to copy the user role so that the keys will be assigned to the new extensions. I have heard this is possible if the names of the roles match but have had no luck.
