Title: Nupoint call flow schedule
Post by: johnp on November 24, 2015, 07:26:55 AM
I thought I'd ask here since my understanding of nupoint isn't as good as it should be. My question is when using a schedule. what is the default action if no hours are entered? Second, is 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM considered 24 hours?

Thanks for your knowledge.

Hi,

Whatever isn't in there should go to off hours.

From my tests, a schedule without weekly hours entered defaults to the on hours.

The previously mentioned behavior is counter intutive to me. Would like to know if 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM is consider 24 hours. Mitel's documentation is usually good, but for Call Director scheduling, think it needs improving.

My concern is the best way to set up holidays. I know that if you enter a holiday, it follows the documentation and does the next thing, which is off hours. I myself usually start a call flow with override then schedule.

From  what I see, the flow should go from override to holiday schedule with no weekly events entered. Off hours would be holiday treatment, on hours would be business hours schedule, followed by treatment.

Did some convoluted setup that I am trying to cleanup and make easier to manage.

If anyone can chime in, please do so and let me know what you do.

Thanks,

John
