Title: How to create a group of telephone numbers to ring in the same time
Post by: lgionut on August 01, 2018, 08:03:15 AM
Good day,

I am very familiar with the Philips Sopho and now I am facing a challenge on a MITEL SX2000.

First challenge is that I have to create a group of numbers to ring in the same time. In this group there is a analog line 9801 and a digital line 9803. The idea is that when the 9803 rings it must ring also the analog line 9801, but the 9801 when will dial somewere to still keep the 9801 number.

Second challenge is that I have to modify the 9801 digital line to analog line in order to use an ordinary cordless phone... :o

I highly appreciate your help on this.

Thank you in advance.

Good morning Johnp,

I made a typing mistake, I mean to modify the digital line 9800 to be analog line.

Good morning Johnp,

You can't "modify the digital line 9800 to be analog line", you would need to delete the phone and create a new one on an available ONS port and move the jumper at the MDF.

Digital phones connect to a DNIC port on a specific type of card, an analog phone connects to different hardware, specifically an ONS station card port.

Good day all, I have two numbers 9801 (digital line) and 9803 (analog line). Both numbers must ring together and to have the possibility to pick up the call from anyone of them. I believe there is a way. Thank you for support.
