Title: UC mobile again
Post by: MitelUK2010 on May 23, 2011, 05:36:42 PM
what is the communication when using the UC mobile client. When the call is made using officelink...... do you utilise the data network and break out from the office PBX. I was however led to believe that when you use officelink, the PBX makes a call to the number dialled via officelink. then makes a call back to the DN dialling the number from the UC client then "joins" them.

The reason i ask is im looking to see if UC client is worthwhile for worldwide travel out of the office.

UC Mobile client on Windows / Symbian devices uses cellular data to tell the 3300 to call the mobile and upon answer, place a second call to the number you are trying to contact. What kind of cell phone you have?

It would be using blackberry and mvs. It is the same process. Cellulr data, 3300 calls back. I was hoping it would be all cellular data. :(
