Mitel Software Applications / MiCollab call history issue
« on: March 19, 2017, 11:37:46 PM »
Hoping someone has seen the issue before or might be able to help. Under certain conditions, MiCollab v7 is not logging the call history correctly

Here is what we do:

Caller dials our main number which the receptionist x1350 picks up. Customer asks to speak to Jane at x1367. Reception attempts to transfer to x1367 but Jane doesn't answer. Receptionist presses the line button to get the call back and takes a message.
In MiCollab, it shows the outgoing call to x1367 but does not show the incoming call with the customers number.

In the same example, if Jane does pickup the call and the transfer is completed there are two entries in the MiCollab call history. One for the incoming call from the client and one for the outgoing call to x1367

We have installed UCA on our terminal server and all works well. Users are happy - except each user is prompted to install the collaboration advanced software. Firstly they don't have access to do this and secondly it installs per-user. Even if I login as an administrator it only installs for that user.

Seems to be a similar issue which was resolved here

http://mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=3435.msg18388#msg18388

And this is the relevant KB article

http://edocs.mitel.com/UG/EN/MUC_help_R4.0/mergedProjects/Audio_and_Web_Conferencing_User_Help/collaboration_client.htm

Except these instruction no longer work. Does anyone know where i can get the administrator install of the collaboration client?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Programming feature keys
« on: July 21, 2015, 08:48:25 PM »
Hi,

I am somewhat new to a Mitel system which I now support but have used other IP phone systems and have plenty of IT knowledge generally. I have a problem in programming a feature key on a 5312 Phone using a Mitel 5000 system

I actually have come across 3 problems which may or may not be related.

When I start up the DB programming, I get the attached error. I click yes and continue as normal.

One of the handsets/extensions i'm looking at, the programmable keys don't match what's actually on the phone. i.e. it's a 12 button phone. button 1 - 8 are all other extensions (PKM/DSS Key) but that's not what it shows me in the DB programming. That doesn't make sense.

Lastly, when i go to change a programmable key, i select 'feature key' for key type but it won't let me save anything in the selection. I 've tried typing in the code or right-click and 'change selection' but neither work. I've tried different extensions and they all do the same thing.

Thanks for the assistance
Brad
