Title: Delete RDN Entry Post SDS Update
Post by: bluewhite4 on May 12, 2011, 08:05:02 PM
Before the update to SDS, I added the key system members of my main number hunt group to the Local-Only entry form because I didn't want them shared. Now it won't let me add those key system keys to a non-local-only phone. For the moment, I changed the DN's of all the key system keys to get around the issue. However, now that I've deleted the keys off all the phones, how do I remove them from the Local-Only form?

From what I understand once they are local only they are that way forever.

Well if that's the case, that's just stupid...

You have to delete and recreate them to remove them from the Local list.

I did delete them from everywhere, they didn't come off the list.

Then they are still hiding somewhere there are some commands to expose the hidden forms I would suggest a call to Mitel tech support for help on them as it has a potential to break things.

once they are in the Local on Dn form the only way to remove them is to restore from old data base before you added them to Local only form

I think this is what Mitel is publicly telling everyone, but a tech did mention to me that there are some hidden forms that you can enable through maintenance that would let you play with some of this. It was on another issue though, so we didn't have to take advantage of it.

I have removed them from LDN many times personally without a restore.
