anyone use these phones with a mitel 5000. im looking for a detailed setup guide for the phone and the mitel phone system. any opinion on this phone. it is easy to use or a pain in the asp....... thanks

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / fowarding a number in a mitel 3300

I have a user that had a set but doesn't need the set any more but wants the number forwarded to a different number. this is on a pri. how can I do that?

does mitel make a cordless phone that has the same capabilities as an 8528 set? seeing line 1 2 and being able to do a system hold and a transfer button? they will not want to dial in a feature code.

is there a way so that if someone is on line 1 someone on another set can press line 1 and get onto the same call as them at the same time and basically do a conference call?

can I program an auto dial key to do a sequence of keys so that the customer can press 1 button and checked a vmail box that doesn't belong to that set? so have it dial 2501 space ** space 2000 space Password?

I had a customer that had there system die and needed a system right away. I took our lab system and put it in software 6.0.x.x and got it going. I now have there system on software 6.1.x.x I backed up the database and converted it to the 6.1.x.x and it is now running. here is my question. can I take the compact flash out of the system not installed and put it in the installed system or do I need to change all the hardware?

I created a page group and put sets in it. that works but the customer wants to know how to adjust the volume on each set?

the customer wants both the name that is entered into the user field and the ext to display when calling set to set. I wont have enough space to enter both into the username field so is there another way?

I have a question. when someone is on a hunt group call and someone calls there ext from another ext it says busy and gives them a busy and then put them on hold so the person there calling can put the hunt group call on hold and then grab the ic call. any ideas how to make the calls ring in from the internal caller when there on a hunt group call?

Im putting in a mitel 200sx and the customer wants to have someone record a auto attendant greeting. they want to know what file format we need to get from them? can I import a file into the auto attendant?

I am installing a Mitel 200 for a hotel and someone else is programing it remotely. I'm going to need to get it talking on the network so that they can access it. what is the default ip address for it and default username and password? if I want to connected to via db9 what would be the setting for that?

I have a mitel 5000 question.
In the mitel 8568 telephone user guide 5 on page 25 there is a line that states this.

If there is no answer or if the extension is busy, you can do the following:
• Request a callback (queue). See “Requesting a Callback (Queuing the Telephone)” below.
• Camp-on to the busy extension. See “Using Camp-on” below.
• Use Off-Hook Voice Announce to contact the party. See “Off-Hook Voice Announce”
below.
• Leave a message. See “Leaving Messages at Other Extensions” on page 55.
What is that and how do I use it?
I have someone that is saying it is like voice call in a norstar.
In a norstar system you call someone using voice call and ask them a question and with out them doing anything they can answer back hands free.
I searched the rest of the document for that phrase and couldn’t find it anywhere.

I have a mitel 5000 with an audio issue. it is now on a pri and it happened before the pri.
I have a call routing table point to a star 2502 and that goes to a 3504 cra that goes to hunt group 2000. here is the issue. when you call in before the call rings a set in the hunt group the caller hears husic on hold for about 1/2 a second. any way to get rid of this. we need the star to change there the phone rings at night with out the customer doing anything.

I have a customer with a mitel 3000 they have 5330 sets that were working remotely and they changed it from non natted to nated ip address and now I need to do port forwarding. what ports do need to be forwarded to make this work?
