No, they couldn't even tell me if it would be in the next release or not. So we moved the rads back to the LX that has the PRI. This allows my ACD to remain on the Communications Director, and have my RADs with dial-out work.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Software Assurance

I have customer who's 3300 is out of warranty. They want to upgrade to 9.0 from 7.1. We called and were told that all they needed to do was purchase software assurance, we apply it to their AMC record, and they'd be good to go. However, when I try to apply it to their AMC record, it returns the following error: " 1 Failed due to - Assignment Error - This product requires active ('Access to all 3300 software versions','3300ICP Re-enlist') settings(s)"

Anyone ever see this, or was customer/pre-sales support wrong about what we had to do?

We have a school district running on one of these. The licensing can be updated through the AMC and then updated is the ESM. The only real issue we've had has become a known issue with the current software release -> dial-out of queue for an ACD group doesn't function when your incoming calls come through a PRI on another controller thats networked together.

Can you give us a break-down of all the settings that you statically put into the phone? Is the controller on a seperate VLAN?

We're currently doing both. We have 10 SIP trunks through Bandwidth.com that work perfectly and weren't that hard to setup. Then we also have a SIP analog FXO device that works perfectly, even has a message waiting indicator that works. Then we have 5302 I believe that is technically SIP not MINET (although the new 5304 will be MINET and is basically the same but with a display.)
