Mitel Software Applications / Re: MiContact Center install error

What version is the controller at now, and what version is MICC? Are they shown as compatible in the docs?

Are you getting prompted for drivers or drives? You mention both, so it's not clear?

If it is drives, has the RAID card been configured if there is one?

Mitel Software Applications / Re: Setting up Mitel AWC from scratch

Must have been a while, it's no longer AWC any more, or MAS! MCA & MiCollab these days.

I might have a training doc somewhere, but despite it's name changes (yes more than one, AWV in between) the config and interface has not changed.

Option 133 is a legacy option these days and has been super seeded by option 125 which replaces 128,129, 130, 133, etc, all in the one option.

The other thing you will need to have in order for relaying inside of you network out to work is SPF records for the domain, including the public IP you are sending from, otherwise O365 will reject the mail

Unfortunately there are no API's for the Mitel products, which makes automation hard.

You wont be able to relay directly through O365, at least without authenticating. Generally the easiest way is to configure a mail relay internally (such as an IIS server with SMTP) and only allow that IP to connect outbound from the network on port 25.

I'll usually set an intercept on the trunk and route all unused numbers to a reception number or something similar.

There is a separate application for MCA you will need to install as well as the Micollab client. You will need to install the admin version of the MCA client, which you can download from the Micollab server.
The URL to grab the file from is:
Code: [Select]
https://fqdn.domain.com/wd/MCAClient-admin.exe Obviously just replacing the fqdn.domain.com with the actual server fqdn.

Is the traffic being NAT'd? What changed at the time that it stopped working? When they monitored the traffic did they see RTP in both directions?

Make sure that in the SIP capabilities form that in the SDP the endpoint is set to negotiate common media. Also if you have no transcoding licences and it is attempting to use G.729 then it wont be able to transcode to G.711

6900 series phones cannot be programmed as traditional ACD Sets.

What type of PSTN service does the call come in on? Does it occur on all consoles or only some (assuming that the consoles are spread across multiple sites and controllers)?

It seems that CDP is a problem with the 1.0 firmware version of these handsets. Disabling CDP and enabling LLDP allows them to work. Guessing that there might need to be a fix for this fairly quickly!

I have only done it the once, and from memory it just worked. What happens when you try to configure it?
