Why not just use a System Speed Call? You can add it manually in MiCollab Console...

this seems to do exactly what I'm looking for!

I've set it up for myself and am going to try it out for a while before I start rolling it out to the users

Hello,

I have a 3300 and I'm trying to set up a mobile user without having to use an IP phone license. I also have a MAS server and MBG, for what it's worth

I'd like to be able to call an extension from my mitel phone (ie 123) and have that forward to a 10 digit external number. I'd also like extension 123 to show up on my MiCollab reception console to make forwarding calls easier for receptionist.

Is this possible? I could create an IP phone, set up call forward always, then just remove the device. But then I'd still need to purchase an IP phone license for it

thanks!

sorry for the late reply, but I should get this down for the record for someone

I had hard drive replaced in both 3300 units and the issue has never come back

4
firewall off: same results
incognito mode: same results
windows 7 computer: same results
Reboot workstation: same results

it's gone from periodic to every *CENSORED* time. I am not sure how to reboot it without having access to the console. Every time it loses power it loses the last 6 months of changes made to (don't even get me STARTED on that) so I don't want to just pull the cord on it.

is there terminal access via telnet or ssh or something?

this is still plaguing me periodically, in both IE and firefox.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Mitel 5324 won't register

That usually means you have it programmed as the wrong type of phone or the MAC is used somewhere else.
Check the phone type.
If OK, try ###<extension>

Ralph

the "wrong type of phone" thing sounds on the money, as the problem phone is a 5324 and the majority of my other phones are 5312. If the mac was in use somewhere else my understanding is that it would not be asking for pin. Is that incorrect?
Is there a way to search my 3300 for a mac address?

I have a phone that just keeps going back to the "USE Superkey TO SEND PIN" message. I hit ***123superkey and it blinks, then back to same message.
tried different extensions, no luck

any suggestions? as far as I can tell it's connecting to my 3300 with no problem, otherwise I wouldn't be getting the superkey message

very unsatisfying resolution, ONE more reboot of each 3300 unit and they decided to start working

9
I tried changing the ICP/PBX addressing, then changing it back, no luck.
tried rebooting routers on both side, no luck

I can ping both devices FROM the other device via maintenance commands. I'm no packet monkey, but IMHO connectivity is connectivity *shrug* in fact I am accessing the web console of the remote unit via the VPN (either direct via web, or by RDP'ing into a server on that side and using web there)

I'm supposed to have the local mitel service providers coming by tomorrow to fix it, I will be watching carefully and reporting back here.

ping works fine, can ping each from the other

ran the busy and the rts, still showing OOS

11
yes the manbusy was changed to OOS after I ran rts xnet all, as above

I checked the IP addresses, that all seemed to be set properly

I am able to ping from one device to the other, in the maintenance commands section

12
I'll check the configuration, but the fact that the connection WORKS after I reboot one of the PBXs makes me think that that is not going to be the issue

13
I ran a "rts xnet all" and now get this for the state xnet all

the latest 3300 firmware refuses to load in compatibility mode and states an error to that effect
