I did but did not see anything there that might cause this, do you have any tip to narrow down what to look at there?

Hi,

I'm having an issue transferring to the operator while at night mode if I call when the system is in day mode and I press 0 I get transferred to the operator but if I switch to the night mode pressing 0 will take me back to the Auto Attendant what I'm trying to do is to make pressing 0 rings the operator for both modes.

Thanks in Advance.

Thank you all for your inputs. I made sure that admin mailbox and all voicemail boxes have unique passcodes after the incident. I will have to keep an eye on the system and I will figure it out.

Thank you everyone.

acejavelin, The reason I'm asking is that I believe, my system was hacked and multiple international calls were made from it I check the DISA setting to see if it was used to hack the system but it's not enabled. what got my attention is on one of the extension's voicemail box settings "Operator Extension (0)" field was changed to the international number that was called from my system but im still not sure how could the hacker change it and how did he use it to place the calls, any idea?

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a way for me to call my 3300 system from and get access that will allow me to place calls that I don't want to place from the outside number I'm calling from?

Thanks

HI,

I'm trying to set up call forwarding on a 4015 Mitel set but when I press the superkey to get to the call forwarding option it never appears, all I get is ( advisory msg, personal keys, ringer adjust, language) is there a trick to get me to the advanced menu where I can do the forwarding?

Thank you.

Sunspark this is the output for the DGT TRACE

DGT Trace started:
No definition found.
DGT Trace completed.

and if I try it on 44 and 4 i get

DGT Trace started:
Termination cannot be determined, more digits are required.
DGT Trace completed.

Hi,

I was asked to look at a 3300 system that allows users to call an outside number and then dial an extension (222-333-4444  ext 555) only by dialing 444, Im looking to stop that but I could not find where this 444 programmed its not in System speed call, or anywhere I could think of. Any Idea how is this programmed and how can it be modified.

Thanks.

I ended up taking another backup using full ftp backup and used ftp again to upload it to the other controller.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the info. when I first took my backup I used Kermit (maintenance, system, backup, Kermit) not ftp (maintenance, system, backup, FTP_Backup)  and I saved it to my network drive. is it still going to work if I use ftp restore for a kermit file backup? or does it have to be a db file backup?
