Anyone,

I ran into this problem this morning and have not had anytime to figure out a solution and the ones I did find on the SAP site did not fix it. Here is the error I am getting during the Crystal Reports portion of the Installation.

Error 1904 - Module C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects

Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_86\crtslv.dll failed to register. HRESULT-2147010895. Contact your support personnel.

If anyone has run into this and found a solution then I would be very interested in what you did to fix it.

Thanks,

TE

P.S. This was on a 32-Bit Windows 7 Machine

OK, I have a MCD Release 6.0 SP2 Software Load 12.0.2.23 on an MXe-III working with a NuPoint 6.0 SP1 Build 16.1.0.13.01 on a MAS.

The problem that shows up daily, according to the customer, is that the Message Waiting Indicator lamps are lighting up and there are no messages. When I came in this morning the person that has this problem the most has the light lit and when I press the key without going off-hook it says it is from the HCI Reroute Hunt Group at exactly 13:00 10-MAR-14. When I go off-hook and press the button to log into the mailbox there are no messages to retrieve and the light goes out.

I remember that there was a Superset Callback Message Cancel Timer that I was told to delete the 24 from during the installation by Mitel; is that part of the problem here or is there something else that could be wrong.

I have attached a document showing the Active Configuration of the NuPoint as well as a CSV of all of the Hunt Groups in the Primary Controller.

Non-Mitel Chatter / Field Solution Manuals
« on: February 21, 2014, 12:45:03 PM »
Everyone,

Tell me what you think about this because I am writing some simple how-to's for a new technician friend of mine and thought it would be a good idea to have something like this out there. Something like Mitel's solutions, but a how-to by technicians for technicians manual.

The way I see it so far you would need to provide the following information to someone just starting or trying to figure out a solution that they haven't run into before.

How-To Topic Name
What version of software will this solution work with
What Hardware or Software is needed
What Features need to be enabled or purchased
How do you set it up and program it
If there are multiple solutions what are the benefits and the detriments of each
Troubleshooting: Typical Issues/Problems along with Solutions

Is this something you think others would want to see on this site somewhere? Also if you have any ideas or suggestions I am willing to listen as any information is good information.

Thanks,

TE

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / FYI: DHCP on the Mitel 5000 after Upgrade
« on: February 18, 2014, 09:13:57 PM »
Everyone,

I figure I would put this out there in case anyone else runs into this situation when upgrading a system to 6.0 and setting up DHCP or just setting up the DHCP Server in general.

After an upgrade from 5.0 to 6.0 PR 5 a technician was setting up the DHCP Server in the 5000 to hand out leases to the just the IP Phones. When they went to set up the DHCP Server it came up with nothing in the Name and the Client's Vendor Name Must Match Name was set to No. So what they did was set up the range as normal and changed the Client's Vendor Name Must Match Name to Yes to ensure that only the phones would get a response from the DHCP server. I removed the DHCP Helper from the switches since it was no longer needed as the phones got LLDP that put them on the correct VLAN, and they said the phones would not get an address. After 10 minutes of looking around in the switch and then looking at how they set up the DHCP server it dawned on me that they didn't put the ipphone.mitel.com in the Name Value Field. As soon as that was done and the DHCP server was turned back on the phones came up and started downloading their software as expected.  :D

Apparently on an upgrade the DHCP server is not set up correctly by default so it just goes to show you that sometimes the little things do get you in the end and since the technician was used to that value being in the name field they didn't know it was needed.

Thanks,

TE

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Outside Calling Party Number Routing
« on: January 02, 2014, 10:04:40 PM »
Hello Everyone,

Since I am new to the 3300 MCD I am not sure if this is possible or not, but a customer of mine is changing from an Inter-Tel Axxess to a 3300 and wants to continue to route calls based on Outside Calling Party Number.

Basically, they have certain numbers that are known for harassment calls/faxes that they just want to hang up on and all other calls will follow the normal call flow; is this possible in a 3300?

If this is possible could you provide some detailed information on how to set it up?

Thanks,

TE

I am currently having an issue with getting the Office 365 server [outlook.office365.com or smtp.office365.com] accepting connections.

Has anyone been successful setting up UM Standard or Advanced with Office 365.

Thanks,

TE

Okay we upgraded a site to 6.0 and the customer is complaining that the Visual Voicemail used to show the Caller ID of Internal and External calls and now it doesn't. What would be changed that could cause this to happen?

Also they wanted email forwarded out to their email, which is working, but they want the Caller ID of the caller to show up in the email. Is this possible to do as well or could it be the same issue?

Thanks,

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Specific Group Alert
« on: October 04, 2012, 05:33:28 PM »
Hello,

I am new to the Mitel 3300 and the customer is wanting to get Specific Group Alerts like they did on their Avaya system. I can not figure out how to get them to work.

I created a phantom multiline key and tried to create a Threshold Alert Key and it says:

The following error was encountered:
Threshold Alert is not allowed with ACDII feature

What is it that I have to get or set to make this feature work. I am not sure that I am even performing the steps correctly since there is no definitive programming for this feature in the help guide.

Thanks,

Steven
