Title: What feature in NuPoint enables Single Digit Routing?
Post by: patrickb on June 05, 2019, 10:53:36 AM
We programmed an older nupoint that says press # then dial ext number. Would like to have a main greet that says press 1 for sales, press 2 for customer service or dial your 4 digit ext number. I'm not sure why the # was used and the customer would like to change. I'm just hitting a wall and need a nudge in the right direction.
System 70 7.0 but not positive on level.
Thanks

Depending on the age of your system, would would either use as atrieouellette stated, the Call Director for a mailbox, or if an older system you set it up as the Automated Receptionist... This involves changes in the Line Group (to answer as Receptionist) and configuration of the Automated Receptionist. Unfortunately it has been so long since I have done this way, probably over 15 years, that I forget how to do it... I want to say it is in Off-Line Configuration.
