Hello,
In my company we have 50 Mitel 5312 with firmware R8.0.02.01.01.01.
We have an asterisk server, firmware update works well.
Today i received 5 new phones 5312 with firmware 06.02.00.01, and when i accept the update firmware, phone show "L2 Error"and boot loop
I read on http://www.voip-info.org (http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Mitel+SIP+Firmware) : In general it is important to upgrade older firmware in sequence - eg: v3 -> V4 -> V5 -> V6 etc. without skipping any releases. Failure to do this (eg: upgrading from V3 directly to V6) may brick the phone.
Where can i found the 7.2 firmware ?
Thanks,
PS: Sorry for my bad english

Please let me know if you have any luck. I have the same error on my 5312. Mitel sucks and offers no support and the partner I talked to so far, cant get it so they say.

According to other posts in this forum, SIP images aren't distributed separately any more. The best hope you've got is finding a public-facing MBG and joining the handsets to that.
