I'm getting one DSP failure alarm level major unavailable% is 25. Not sure what DSP is and how I can resolve this. The help menu say's reboot the system is that the only option? If it's a card can I just reset the card using a command?
thanks,
ICP 3300 software 5.0

DSP Failure is usually related to the DSP/DSPII Modules installed on the main board MCC slots or T1/E1 Combo Card, there is no soft reset or "load" command available for them to my knowledge. Best bet is to do a backup and then, assuming the system is functional right now, schedule a reset at like 2am or something... It will come back and work just fine, it's a Mitel!!! :)

Thanks will give it a shoot!

I'm working on a system with a DSP alarm right now. You can try executing a "Show status dsp" from the 3300 maint command.
Or Putty onto the box an issue a "DumpDspBootInfo".
Could be that the module has failed to load. Have a look at what the logs are saying during the time it booted up.

This is my situation:
Dsp Status: (Warning! This only displays the current state of the dsps in the system. Failures previous to a system reboot are not recorded.)
Slot Number 4 Dsp 0 State: OUT OF SERVICE
Slot Number 4 Dsp 1 State: OUT OF SERVICE
Slot Number 4 Dsp 2 State: OUT OF SERVICE
Slot Number 4 Dsp 3 State: ACTIVE
I restart, the system goes well, but after 20 minutes the same Major Alarm wake up me :(
Any idea?
Thanks,
Pulsar

Try putting the card in a different slot. Possibly swapping the card for another one.
Have you recently added any new licenses, such as fax or compression?

One thing that got drummed in to me when I started with 3300 controllers was that the DSP card must always go in slot 3.
When the system boots and you are connected via the console does it display any errors when loading the DSP modules? This is probably also reflected in the maintenance log.
