Here's something I'm trying to get my head around.
We use UCA, AWC and Nupoint. Each are accessible via the web proxy.
My question is this: Do I need to purchase a certificate for the web proxy and the application server?
And if I have to purchase a cert for the proxy too, how do you install a cert for both the UCA and the AWC?

You would generate the cert for the application server. When you generate your certificate for your application and send this to your CSR you should ask then to added a additional common name to the certificate, this would be the MBG running the proxy service.

Yep that is correct.
It's hard to find that explanation on MOL though, and when I lodged a ticket for this they even admitted it wasn't well documented!

It is documented but it is in the MSL docs

I am in the same scenario, using AWC on MAS 2.2 and MBG as the proxy, and a wildcard ssl from go daddy. Just wanted to thank you all for the post and i will attempt the same fix.
