Ok, sounds like you will need to sort a couple of things out. Firstly the Trunk Attributes assigned to the Exchange Sip peer profile is not abosobing/inputting any digits when the one assigned to your public trunks is, probably best to assign an extension number to your Fax server and refer to that. Secondly SIP peers are seen as public trunks to the system, so when you try to use refer you are actually asking it to transfer externally, so check that the class of service assigned to the Exchange peer profile (and/or possibly the public trunks?) is allowed to transfer externally.

Ok I am a little bit happier now. I have tested this on our lab system and you still get the web interface and TUI functionality when using MAS UCM with EHDUs.

So not as bad as I first thought.

We use UCM a lot and install this over EHDUs all the time purely from the ease of use for customers. Does anyone know if there will be a web front end to EHDUs when it does go EOL?

We have had to disable it on all systems we have upgraded. In fact done the last one about 15 minutes ago.

Your getting that error because you have already added the fields to the msi, if you try installing the edited msi you will probably get errors and it won't install which is why you need to do it using a transform file.
Download a fresh msi file and then edit/add the extra fields using a transform. I would also recommend trying it on a single Pc first to make sure it's doing what you want it to do before rolling out using a GPO.

They may be licensed but are they enabled for this feature. Go to feature profiles and check that Chat is ticked for the profile your users are using.

No undo your change and add a new field to the property table named UC_SERVER_HOSTNAME and enter the servers FQDN as the value. You will also see UC_LANGUAGE on this page which you can change en-GB for the UK.

First thing to check is that the users are licensed for this feature.

I can get VMs to show up for other extns/mailboxes than your own extn using Xarios Phone Manager Team Leader, in my screenshot you can see you can retrieve them from any extn.

Not as immediate as a flashing button on your phone though!

@smarbar, is this what you were thinking or can you get Xarios to actually light keys on the phone??

No its done on the application server and it lights the light (Screenshot attached), I think you need the dongle based licensing though so will need at least 1 professional user, but not 100% on that.

It can't do it natively on the system, but I think you can do it if you have Xarios
