Hi,

I have been looking on where do I change on how many numbers mitel will take from the DID to be programmed on a phone. Lets say that I have 123-4567 and I just want to take the last 3 digits (567) where do I configure that? I had been checking and cant figure it out. Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mentioned that it was that do not disturb that caused the issue. I cleared it off and fixed.

Ok, Fixed. I was able to find how to enable my phone for Remote Do not disturb. I just need to change it on my class of service.

I noticed that too and I have been trying to do that but when I try to do the Do Not Disturb - Cancel Remote I am getting not allowed. Trying to figure out that now. Any Idea.

we have only range of numbers for DID and its on the range 4xxx and the extension we are having trouble with is not part of the range -7852. I checked the DID form and its is currently off for both hunt group number and the member number, about ESM not too sure what that is.

I did the locate feature extension 7852 (for the hunt group) and got this
The number referes to a Hunt Group
Pilot Number: 7852
Active Features:

I also did the locate feature extension 5002 (extension that is part of the hunt group)
VM Port: 712
Circuit location: 1 4 27 2 1
Extension: 5002
Active Features : Do Not Disturb
Service Level: Full

I was trying to find the 5002 but couldnt figure out how that voicemail was configured. When i dial 5002 and 7852 it just give me a dial tone, doesnt play the message. I checked call rerouting and nothing is in place either.

Im not too familiar with RAD but for some reason one of the RAD just suddenly stopped playing. I tried the other RAD and they are working I tried to follow how they are interconnect and read all I need to read but I dont see why its doing it. I even ftp to the server and found the file that plays on the RAD and confirmed that is the right one. Can  you help me point to the right direction.

Its late response but I was able to figure it out, the reason why it is so is because of class of service on his mitel phone, his cellphone takes about 30 seconds before the voice mail picks up the call and the Call Forward no Answer timer is set to 20 seconds. I changed call forward No Answer timer to 45 seconds and that will give it enough time for his phone to pick up the call and go to his cellphone's voice mail. Thanks for all the all you guys that helped me! You guys are awesome!

Sorry for the late reply had been swamped this couple of weeks. Anyway i tried that and still not working, it still goes to two separate voicemail.

Call forward No Answer timer is set to 10 on both Trunk and phone

The trunks COS for No Answer Recall is set to 60 and delay ring Timer is 10. I copied one of the COS and changed No Answer recall timer to be the same value as the trunk and it is still doing the same thing. Do I need to change the one on the trunk to have a lower value than the one I have set on the phone.

Hi I am fairly new with the mitel system and just learning along the way and I am getting confused with this setting. I have setup a voice mail to one of our phone which has a did number, the user enabled the call forwarding always on that phone and forward to his cellphone. Now when internal user call his number and just dial his extension 5555 and he doesn't pick up the call, it leaves a voice mail to his cellphone. If someone call his whole number 204-123-5555 it leaves the voice mail on his mitel phone. How can I set it so that it just leaves a voice mail on his cellphone or just on his mitel phone not separate. Thanks
