Title: Mitel vMCD - VMware Tools

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if VMware Tools are installed on the Mitel vMCD virtual appliance. I am running a VSphere ESXi 4.1 environment and I am getting conflicting reports on this subject.

I heard yesterday that you can get a 45 day vMCD trial right from the VMWare store.

Thanks Ralph......I already have a production copy of the vMCD and a license. For performance reasons we put VMware Tools on all of our virtual machines and just wanted to know if it was pre-installed on the appliance. I have read documentation in different locations....one says it is and one says it isnt

please tell me what is the required equipment? I heard we have to have 4core cpu on vmware!!!it that correct?

Swin - you need a decent box to host this there is a hardware matrix on edocs.mitel.com about the different vendors and equipment supported on top of that you would need either a 45 day trial of vMCD or a Licensed version. They pretty much support any Intel Nahalem processor and newer.
