Title: Ringing for dropped calls
Post by: Emrah Hatem on April 04, 2011, 09:46:11 AM
If the call is dropped by the callers for any reason before answering by operator,it is still trying to ring.
When you pick up the phone after the call end,you can not hear anything and if you do not pick up it is always ringing...How can I overcome this ?

Check the circ descriptor of the trunk.   Look for disconnect timer.
You may have to play with it a bit with different options.   Lower the timer to it's minimum to see if that stops it.

Hi ralph,
I entered most of the values for both disconnect timer and flash timer according to the following sentence which is in the HELP ;
"This timer( disconnect timer ) must be longer than the Flash Timer "
But it is not working ? Do you think that I have also to change some other values ?

Try lowering your disconnect timer or ask the phone company to turn on "disconnect supervision".
