Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 3300 and Office 365 not using NuPoint

We have voicemail with Office 365 using a mediant 1000 gateway.  Everything works well except when we set the auto attendant to transfer a call instead of leave a message.  The call gets transferred as expected and if the person receiving the call does not answer it the call goes to their voicemail as expected but if the person does answer the call they hear static. 

We are unsure what the 3300 needs to see in order to transfer the call.  We are able to log the packets as they pass through the mediant 1000.  If someone knows something about the transfer process and could just shed some light on that we might be able to trouble shoot this on our own.

Mitel Software Applications / 3300 to audiocodes mediant 1000

We currently use Microsoft UM as our voicemail.  We are attempting to connect to Office 365 for Email and voicemail.  We do not have nu point.  We have a network element defined with our current exchange and it is working great.  We configured another network element to work with audiocodes mediant 1000.  When we look in the syslogs of the audiocodes unit we see that it is talking to both office 365 and the mitel 3300.

We configured an extension in our ARS digits dialed that points to and ARS route that points to a SIP peer profile with the network element of the audio codes box.  We went through our current exchange configuration and duplicated it but are sending the calls to the Audiocodes box instead.  It is not working.

Has anyone done this or know of any documentation for the Mitel configuration portion?  We have plenty of documentation for the AudioCodes portion.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / identifying forwarded calls.

We have a night on call person that forwards our help desk extension to his mobile phone.  The calls come through as if they dialed him directly.  Is there a way that he can know if a call came in that was forwarded to him separate from the calls that have directly dialed his cell number?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / SMDR record

the number being called is not being recorded if it is an internal extension.  I am grabbing the raw data coming out of the 3300 and the number being called is there if it is an external call but it shows nothing if it is an internal extension.

We have a user that works across the room form her phone and would like it to ring a few more times before it goes to voice mail.  Is there an easy fix for this?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Dialing 0

When I press 0 I get INVALID on the display and a fast busy.  This should ring the operator X1000.  Do I treat 0 like any other extension?  Should I set it up in my ARS Digits dialed?  I am not sure where to start for this.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / UM Exchange integration question

We have Exchagne configured as voice mail.  When we try to transfer a call directly to voicemail the call drops as soon as the person doing the transfer hangs up or presses transfer the second time. Transfer works fine if we are not trying to go directly to voicemail.  I am thinking it has something to do with transfering it directly to sip trunks verses transfering it to another extension in the pbx.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / restrict access to a certain number.

We have an extension 4096.  A group has asked that noone but extensions 4050-4055 be allowed to call this number.  Is this possible?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call records

Has anyone ever captured and dealt with call records without purchasing a syetem.  We have a programmer that would like to create an in house system.  I am not sure what to tell hem or where to start looking.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Non-unique match

When using the Maintenance Commands I type "LOCATE EXTENSION 3283".  The response is "Non-unique match". 

When I Type "LOCATE PLID 2 1 1".  The response is "Non-unique match".

I used to get information about extension and with the second command a list of the ports on the card along with the extensions assigned.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Exchange Mitel question

We have Exchange 2010 configured as voicemail.  When a vocie mail is left there is a footer with caller id information.  We have some executives that would like it if there name was displayed but the caller id appeared as there assistants number. We are using 4.1 SP1 10.1.1.11_2.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / call path question

We have a user that does not want her extension to ring unless it is from her assistant or her assistant's assistant.  When someone calls her she wants it to go to the first assistant and is she is busy then go to the second assistant.  When either assisstant answers it and decides it is important enough they should then send the call to her on her main line.

Is it possible to forward all calls that come to a certain number but program an excpetions so that two particular extensions are not forwarded?

We are going to install our first IP phones model 5312.  Is there a document that lays out the configuration?  I can hunt through the display and figure it out but it would be nice to have it in PDF form.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / different call appearance.

Is there a way to force a call to use a different line.  Lets say my number is 2222 and I want people to see me as 2221.  If I add an appearance of 2221 to my phone can I force that line to be active when I pick up the handset without pushing the button every time?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / exchange play on phone feature

We have mixed results with the ability for exchange to "play on phone". We always get the phone selected to ring and connect it just does not always play the message.  Has anyone out there experienced this?
