Hello,
So I've got a call logger setup and recording calls on the Mitel handsets already and everything is working fine. The only problem is that I've setup a SIP extension but the calls are showing as no audio.
The call details are logged, e.g. extension, time of call, length. The only problem is I cannot play it as it shows as no audio recorded.
Is there anything specific I have to do to get this to work and record a SIP device? The port is showing as Idle in the administration programming.

are the sip sets connected to the MBG/SRC so they can be recorded properly? Are you restricting audio codecs to the set that is supported by the call recorder?

I'm using X-Lite and have these Audio Codecs enabled.
As for the SIP device I've configured it on the MCD and just programmed it on the MBG as well but still no luck.

are you connecting x-lite to the MBG? what are you calling, a minet set?

X-Lite is connected to the MCD. I've tried calling voicemail and also outbound via the SIP trunks.

it's the MBG that's responsible for forking your audio streams and sending them off to the recorder, so your sip sets need to connect to the mcd *via* the MBG for call recording to work.
