Title: NuPoint Calls an extension - Seemingly at random
Post by: irongladiator on February 13, 2017, 02:47:56 PM
Hello Fellow Mitel Techs,
I got me a virtual instance of MiVB Express (Ver. 7.1.0.55) with NuPoint (Ver. 18.1.0.23). Randomly it seems, the NuPoint calls one extension in particular. This extension has NO voicemail box, so no messages are being left there, thought maybe an MWI lighting type issue. The phone displays "Voicemail Calling" (Voicemail is what we labeled the VM Ports). Not sure why this is happening. Any clues on where to look?

Thanks,
-Iron

My first instinct is that the extension being called is an attendant extension on one of the mailboxes.

Hi ZuluAlpha,
That's an interesting thought, I do believe once upon a time, this extension was part of group that was attendants. Mean's I'll have to poke around some.

Thanks,

Hi VinceWhirlwind,
It is actually extension 1010.

Thanks,

I seem to remember I saw a similar issue once.
I had to turn off the automatic line select feature in the COS of the ports in the 3300.
I'm not sure I'm remembering the feature name or not but it's the one that allows dialing without selecting the line first.

Is it extension 1004?

Is ext 1004 known to have this issue?
